More on the Moonraker II boat

Here is more information about the Moonraker II boat I blogged about earlier.

They did a nice job on it.

It was the same model, but not color, as the one used in the movie. The gray metal flake gelcoat was added and was completely rebuilt from the bottom up.

Moonraker II is an exact copy of the Moonraker boat from the movie with some exceptions. The bond gadgets were not done as it made the boat unusable for passengers, The roof is not removable, and no hang glider installed.
The paint scheme is identical and the gray is not metalflake. The movie boat was a 1978 model and mine was a 1979 but no model changes. Boat has been sold.
