As we all know, back in 1966 the Glastron Boat Company was contracted to build a Batboat for the movie and TV show.
Before shipping to the studio they shot a series of photos. Two of the several consistent characteristics of these are the bow tie steering wheel and what I call the "long underwear" Batman behind the wheel.
After 5 or 6 years, I finally have a scanner again and am sharing my backlog of stuff for the first time.
This is the only COLOR photo from Glastron I've found to date, as discovered on the second page of a '67 Glastron boat catalog I bought off of eBay.
Original image is 1 1/2 by 3 3/4 inch.
Scanned at 600 dpi on a Canon 5600F, descreened and NOT sharpened, it is the best image I can get off the page.
The file uploaded here --> is TIF format and size is over 6 MB.

Here is a smaller sized JPG.

Hello. Would you be interested in discussing your Batboat project at a meeting of the Saginaw Science Fiction and Fantasy Fan Group? Please let me know. We meet monthly at the Magic Bean coffeehouse....
Hello, Jerry,
Thank you for the invitation!
The economy has me a nervous wreck and I'm concentrating on paying off big bills. Can't think right most of the time. However, I'd love to do it at a future meeting.

Yep, this is Jerry Seward... the club's next meeting is currently scheduled for Sunday, March 14, so we'd love to have you drop by. We usually meet the second Sunday of every month, at the Magic Bean...
What time?
We'll be there from 12 noon-4p.m., in the meeting room.
